2022
The Pause and Restart
We were all set to launch our exciting travel lineup, with backpacks taking the spotlight, in mid-2020. But then the pandemic hit, putting everything on hold. Fast forward to mid-2022, as travel began to reopen, we handpicked our favorite products from the lineup: the Organizer+, WashKit+, and Para+ Pouch. Instead of going broad, we decided to perfect these designs, believing in quality over quantity.

Testing on the Go
Armed with our product samples, we hit the road to test them during our travels. It was an exhilarating time as we experimented with new recycled materials and hardware, and explored partnerships we had lined up. During this period, we made a strategic move, shifting our factory tie-up from China to Vietnam, which allowed us to make some crucial design tweaks before crafting the next prototype.


2023
Prototype Marathon
Prototypes, prototypes, and more prototypes. We identified key pain points and started building new designs with a more refined approach. We even redesigned some of the features we previously loved, leading to the creation of countless prototypes.

The Refinement Journey
Some ideas worked, others didn’t. We fine-tuned both bags, reducing the thickness of the paracord for greater flexibility. By the end of our journey, we had gone through a whopping 26 different designs and prototypes before finalizing the final designs!


2024
Ready for the Spotlight
With pre-production samples in hand, we dove into ad shoots to capture our products in action. Snapping photos in busy gyms, on Bali beaches, and backpacking through the streets of Vietnam and Bangkok. We also documented layovers in India, business trips to Washington, and travels in Hong Kong, watching sunsets from coffee shops on the pier. This approach highlighted the practicality and style of our products in both everyday adventures and professional settings. What they were originally designed for.
LAUNCH
After much debate and hustle, we decided to reach out directly to our customers to make this project a success. What better way than launching a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter?
